In early March, Andrew and I went on a road trip from Baltimore to Atlanta and one of our stops was at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden near Richmond, Virginia. Even though it was early in the season and most of the plants were not yet in bloom, it was still beautiful and we quickly made plans to go back again some time when everything is in full bloom.
Having recently visited Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania, we couldn’t help but compare between the too. Though Lewis Ginter was nowhere near as grand as Longwood, the plants were packed much closer together, making the whole garden feel fuller, cozier, and more lush. Each is beautiful in its own way and we’ll definitely be going back.
